NOTE: Citizens who reside in Nauvoo are sometimes concerned with the large crowds of visitors who pour into their small, quiet city. Please be aware as visitors that you will be "guests" in their city. Showing courtesy through respect for private property is always appreciated. Please assume that any area inside the city limits is probably privately owned, and not for personal group recreational use, unless specially posted and arranged in advance. Picnicking, placing signs, setting up refreshment areas, or taking photos of private residences or yards, without specific permission in advance, is not appropriate.
