The Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center is the best place to begin your visit to NauvooWe welcome all drivers to Historic Nauvoo, and thank you for coming! To help make your trip more accommodating we have some information that may help you with your trip. Whether you are just dropping off or will have some time to park and enjoy what Historic Nauvoo has to offer, please note some information below:

All buses going to the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center should enter from Main Street. The bus waiting area by the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center is for On and Off bus loading – 15 minutes. Long term bus parking is available in the northwest portion of the West Parking Lot of the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center.

At the Historic Nauvoo Visitors Center we will try to make your trip to Nauvoo as enjoyable as possibleAdditional long term parking for motorcoaches is available north of the Cultural Hall at Main and White Streets, east of Sunset by the Mississippi amphitheater on Parley Street, the Joseph Smith Historic Site Visitors Center on Water Street, and one block east of the Temple on Mulholland (Highway 96) and Page Streets, behind the Latter-day Harvest book store.

15-minute Temple and Temple Visitors Center On and Off bus loading is available on Mulholland Street (Highway 96), on the south side of Temple Square in the westbound lane.

In the historic area, 15-minute On and Off bus loading is permitted everywhere on the Bus Route.

The Carthage Jail and Visitors Center has one parking lot where On and Off bus loading and parking is available.
